A Message to Families & the Community
As we begin 2026, I want to take a moment to reflect on what truly matters—our children, our families, and the strength of the communities that support them. The care and guidance youth receive today help shape the future they will grow into, and that responsibility is one we all share.
Today’s children are growing up in a world that moves faster than ever before. Technology, social pressures, and constant change can feel overwhelming—not only for youth, but for parents, caregivers, and families as well. No one should have to navigate these challenges alone.
Mental Health Care Connections of New Jersey was founded on the belief that youth do best when families, providers, schools, and community supports work together with compassion, respect, and shared purpose. Through years of working directly with families, I have seen how powerful it can be when everyone involved focuses on understanding, support, and collaboration without judgment.
As we move into this new year, my hope is that we continue strengthening the connections that matter most—between families, providers, and community partners. Every conversation, every shared effort, and every moment of encouragement helps build stability, resilience, and confidence for the children we serve.
The Mental Health Care Connections of New Jersey team and CSOC System providers are committed to the well-being of families and communities. Together, we can continue creating spaces where youth feel supported, families feel heard, and communities grow stronger.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. We look forward to walking alongside you in 2026.
Warm regards,
Sean S. Lee, LCSW

CHILD-FRIENDLY HEALTHY SNACK IDEAS
A child’s health and well-being are closely connected to the foods they eat each day. A balanced diet supports growth, energy, focus, and emotional regulation, helping children feel their best at home and at school.
Healthy eating habits do not need to change all at once. Introducing small, gradual changes—such as adding one new food or creating consistent mealtimes—can help children adjust comfortably and build positive routines that support long-term wellness.
