Issue #1 | September 2025

A Message from the Clinical Director

Dear Community,

At Mental Healthcare Connections of New Jersey (MHCNJ), we believe that mental health is not just about treatment—it’s about connection, growth, and empowerment. As we continue to expand our services, our mission remains clear: to provide compassionate, community-based care that reflects a brighter vision for children, families, and individuals across New Jersey. This month, we are proud to highlight the strides we are making to ensure that families feel supported, that youth have a voice, and that mental wellness is accessible to all.

Warm regards,

Sean Lee, LCSW

Wellness Tip of the Month

Creating Calm at Home:

Set aside 15 minutes each evening for a “calm corner” routine with your child. Use this time to read, breathe, or simply talk without distractions. Small consistent steps can help reduce anxiety and strengthen family connections.
